You're using web-ftp. That's the one that goes 'processing'. Ie the one via the website itself.

If you don't know what the book isbn is, you cannot set up a book request. But you can use a Z-alert.

You can attach separate files to a PDF file like email attachments.

You could add them inside an epub's archive.

For other formats I'm not sure.
