Merging multiple formats into one

Post by kell »

Hi

How can I combine multiple books into one ebook page? For example, this is one and the same book, but is under two different links:
https://z-library.im/book/xZ8jGxo0ky/s% ... ianie.html
https://z-library.im/book/aZeW8jQ8kO/s% ... ianie.html

How those two can be merged so it's not necessary to populate each item with description, etc?

Typically, duplicate books are displayed when you click the three dots on the download button.

This is not what he ask.
And I ask the same, too.

Short answer: No

Makes it too easy for a publisher to find and copyright strike all editions of a book at the same time. Options to download other copies in the same format are presented, as that helps users.

Adding on to this as its related, but not what you asked. Sometimes the copies the library holds genuinely are different, as in same book, same author, different publisher. The versions of the same book published by say HarperCollins and Penguin are going to be slightly different in content; different editing teams wording things in slightly different ways. So even though they are say both epubs, the description, page count and isbns are going to differ between them. Its another reason not to lump all epubs by title and author, together.
